The Dirty Table Project

While working on Kait & Justin's blog post last night, I came across an image that inspired me. It was an image of a messy table - after dinner, with ribbon on the table from favors, cell phones, bread crumbs, taper candles dripping, empty glasses, 1/4 empty glasses, water bottles, wine bottles, and menus spread about. I was inspired by this image because in the "mess" all I see is beauty - those beautiful flowers, especially the dinner plate dahlias that survived the long day and drive from Brooklyn, spirits consumed over rich and wonderful conversation, memories made by candlelight, and moments that will last a lifetime. Perfection lies within imperfection.

I challenge you if you also see the beauty in this image to post a photo on instagram with the #TheDirtyTableProject of a great night had with either with a great crew of people, or one on one with someone special, tell the story through your messy table!

I apologize in advance if this sounds a bit like a Matthew McConaughey Lincoln commercial (haha) I'm excited to see your dirty tables and more importantly your memories made!
