When it was time to find the perfect place, date and style for their big day, Ashley and Will were totally on board with creating a wedding as unique as them! Their personalities are some of my absolute favorite to date, as was their wedding. I mean, imagine this - a crisp Sunday morning in late September, sun shining over you and 50 of your closest family members and friends, at a quintessential CT mansion, for an outdoor wedding ceremony followed by brunch on the patio. Does it get any better than that??
Ashley and Will's love for food and their family is what was the true inspiration for this family style brunch. They put so much thought into all of the fine details of the day, and the incredible Joanna Fisher Photography captured everything beautifully. So grab a mimosa [with only a splash of OJ - extra champagne of course], and enjoy this look back at this "Backyard Brunch" dream day!
Not only is this dress absolutely beautiful, but is has the most INCREDIBLE story behind it!! Ashley was having a really difficult time finding her perfect dress, and essentially had found what she was looking for with 2 dresses. It isn't common that you are able to pick and choose the pieces of a dress you want, let alone from different dress designers at DIFFERENT dress shops! The amazing ladies of A Little Something White and Everthine Bridal worked together with the designers and with Ashley to create her dream wedding dress! It truly is such an amazing thing to hear how small businesses put business aside to help make the bride's wedding day perfect, and that is exactly what this dress is - PERFECTION!!
I mean...the detail in this dress is absolutely stunning! It's so clear on both Ashley + her mom's face how beautiful the dress is and how amazing Ashley looks in it!!
If Will's reaction isn't the definition of "Heart Eyes" then I really don't know what is!!
This is one of my favorite pictures!! It captures Will's personality perfectly, and not to mention the insanely gorgeous florals by Carrie Wilcox!!
One of the most important things Ashley and Will had discussed with us is that they wanted their guests to really experience the Farm to Table feel of the food and design on the tables. So much so, that we added fresh fruit to the centerpieces!!
A HUGE thanks to the incredible team of vendors for helping make this Sunday Brunch one for the books!!
