There is no wonder why September is more popular month for weddings as the formerly go-to month of June. The sun is warm, the air is crisp, feelings of nostalgia for the concluding summer mixed with the excitement of a New England fall, football and the holidays. Similar to June, its just a great time of year to be married and on the day of Megan & Marcus' beautiful Connecticut mansion was exactly that. I love when I am able to get to know my clients and their relationship during the planning process. Marcus was Megan's rock, the one she looked to when it was time to throw on a fab pair of heels and some red lipstick and the one she needed like air to breath in times of stress, or after a taxing day. And for Marcus? Megan is truly the apple of his eye, I'm quite positive there is nothing he wouldn't do for her, or to be right next to her. Like all of my couples, on the day of a wedding I am mixed with excitement and a pang of sadness that we won't be working together anymore, Megan & Marcus were certainly not an exception!
