{ The ACE 8 - Blush-ing Brooke }

What do you get when you try and imagine creating a wedding for one of your best friends, and their business? That is exactly what we did for this week’s Brooke Allison Photography inspired ACE 8. Brooke’s love for grey tones, pale pinks and peaches and anything that sparkles made for a really fun project. So I took some of her favorite things, and compiled them with what she portrays in her wedding photography business and voilà! Here you have it loves - the Blush-ing Brooke!

1. Flower Petal Confetti:: Whether your guests shower you in flower petal confetti as you are leaving the church, or as a sendoff when you are leaving then  reception, this makes for one amazing photo-op. Add a little bit of silver glitter in with the petals for some extra shimmer!

2. Chair Skirts:: This is one of the BEST ways to add a little bit of fun and romance to your wedding. With the wide variety of chair covers and skirts there are out there today, you can make a big statement with these blush color rosette skirts. If you don’t want to get too carried away by having them on every chair, simply use them to decorate your sweetheart table, or the head table.

3. The Boys:: Keep your men sheek in a simple grey suit. Be sure to bring in different textures and shades of grey with the tie or vest. With just a little pop of color in their boutonniere, this perfectly classic look makes these colors come to life.

4. Tassels:: These colorful tassels are a really great decorative piece to use in any number of places throughout your wedding. Behind the dessert table, by the bar, or even with the gift table, the little bit of sparkle, mixed with the grey and pink tones, is a subtle and amazing way add a little something extra to areas that otherwise might be overlooked!

5. Flowers:: Have fun with the amazing variety of flowers that come in the peach, cream and blush tones. The combination of the flowers above are a perfect representation of romance and beauty, and make quite the statement.

6. Floral Headpiece:: This is a MUST have for the marriage of Brooke and her business. How gorgeous is this handmade headpiece. The different size flowers and the way they are places together are an amazing statement piece for any member of your bridal party. If it’s too much for your and your bridesmaids, you can always consider having one made for your flower girl!

7. Champagne Escort Cards:: A perfect way to kill two birds with one stone! Welcome your guests to cocktail hour with a crisp glass of rose, in keeping with the pale pink and peach tones. If you want to take this one step further, you can have the bartenders use an edible silver sugar glitter rim around the glass for some added sparkle for each guest!

8. Silver Table Linens:: While on the topic of sparkle, let’s talk about linens. I LOVE these sequin linens, and although they might be a little much for some people, I can’t get enough! Use them sporadically throughout your venue to make a visually appealing statement not only for your guests, but for the camera as well!
