Nicole and Oli's wedding day could described in one word: Perfect.
Working with Nicole the past several months has been a blast. When we initially met last spring, Nicole told me all about her beautiful day, the gorgeous chapel on Sacred Heart University's campus - where she and Oli met - her breathtaking gown, and the venue-supplied centerpieces. If there was a record playing, it would have fallen off the needle when I heard that. Needless to say, after many meetings, text messages, emails and trips to the craft store, Nicole and I worked together swapping ideas to hone her wedding vision into what was on her flawless wedding day. From the tablescape design, to the escort cards, to organization of the day's timeline, Nicole + Oli's day was fabulous and classy; a perfect and fitting affair to reflect the couple's personality.
The chapel at Sacred Heart University is amazing: beautifully landscaped, very cool architecture and a magnificent mural as a focal point, of course, only when the bride and groom weren't standing there. The ceremony was a full mass and was perfectly executed. One of the most memorable moments of the ceremony, of course after my favorite part when the father of the bride and the bride are just about to walk down the aisle and the vows, was a beautiful song sung by Oli's Aunt Isabella. I had goosebumps and I'm pretty confident that everyone at the ceremony had a similar feelings.
The reception at Amarante's Sea Cliff was flawless! The food looked great, and they ran a well-oiled machine. The staff was quick and courteous with dinner service. Guests enjoyed pre-dinner and also mid-dinner dancing thanks to Tommy of Celebration Entertainment.
The tablescapes were my favorite! Nicole used beautiful distresed white lanterns, surrounded by votives and bud vases filled with flowers from Fluescents (my favorite florist in the entire world) that were so perfect they almost looked artificial. The second tablescape was a combination of three antique milk vases with gorg flowers by Fluerscent and votives that sat on top of these amazing chargers Nicole found. Nicole's vintage chic vision came together in a perfect and cohesive reality on her perfect day.
Nicole and Oli were such a great couple to work with. She should truly write a book on "How to be a Perfect Bride" because she was just that: happy, gorgeous from the inside out and having a blast at the wedding she worked so tirelessly to create.
Until next time,

PS - Extra special shout out to my friends Ashley + Chris Poisella of Ashley Therese Photography, they are an absolute pleasure to work with them both behind and in front of the lens. I've personally had the pleasure of experience both sides, without them I would never have met Nicole and Oli and I am super grateful for the introduction! Finding the perfect photographer is the best investment you could make for your wedding, right NEXT to hiring an awesome wedding coordinator.
