:: Wickham Park Wedding :: Manchester, CT ::

Nachel + Morgan's wedding day was chock full of coordination....Two Ceremonies, two dress changes, two trips to the salon, DIY Decor Set Up and a timeline that did not leave much wiggle room. Despite the day's tight schedule my team worked their tails off and we were able to deliver a flawless event!

The day started off at the Gurdwara for a Sikh ceremony which was filled with tradition and culture. I quite like their traditions as a matter of fact, it is recommended that you wear comfortable, yet colorful clothing, shoes are not permitted within the Guarwara and I think the favorite part was the pre-ceremony snacks and traditional Indian cuisine immediately following the ceremony.

From the Sikh ceremony half the of my crew went with the bride to the second salon visit and dress change to ensure the timeline was kept and to tend to any issues that may or may not come up while I set up the reception and ceremony site at the very beautiful Wickham Park in Manchester.

The ceremony was beautiful, in a courtyard with permanently affixed benches and a wrought iron gate which had beautiful white flower garland strung from it. The music played was a symphony version of a Micheal Jackson song and Dave Matthews Satellite which the bride was to walk out at exactly :45 seconds which was totally worth the wait. It was awesome.

Nachel loved ribbons, her Pinterest board was full of ribbons so naturally they had to be incorporated into the decor scheme. During our venue walkthrough we came up with some awesome ideas the add color and texture to the white tent by tying different colored fabric to the shell of the tent. The tablescapes were beautiful wild flower arraignments by Azalea Florist in gorgeous stoneware urns. David Alan Catering did such an amazing job with the event. He delivered steak house service and quality out of a temporary kitchen, he met with his staff at least 3 times to talk about the plan for the night, what was on the menu, and what was in the food for allergy information etc. During the event David served gorgeously plated, delicious dinner. His staff did an amazing job, they will be highly recommended by me for many events to come.

In the cabin, DJ Reveleo spun beats all night long and perfectly executed a playlist full of fun dance songs that satisfied the the different cultures, age groups, and musical taste. Everyone was dancing, all night long under the globe lights (From the Amy Champagne Wedding Stock) and more ribbon details hung by yours truly!

Extra special shout out to Spencer and Jason of 5 West Studios, what an awesome company to work with!! Spencer rolled with the day, any changes or adjustments we made he was super cool with and professional yet fun! Check out his website - he has such a cool photography style. I really like it and I look forward to working together again soon! Thank you Spencer!!

Congrats Nachel + Morgan!!

Until next time,
